Community Projects and Sponsorships
Community Involvement is a cornerstone of our philosophy at University Sprinklers. We have been involved in many projects in both our local and global communities. We have donated parts and labour to a number of community gardens, such as the Richmond Fruit Tree Project, the Ladner Hospital Healing Garden, and the James McKinney Elementary School Vegetable Garden. We sponsor several sports events, and we like to get involved in community events like the Steveston Sockeye Spin and the Seafood and Wine Festival. Also, during the winter we hold an annual Coat and Blanket Drive, during which we pick up coats and blankets from our clients, and deliver them to shelters in Vancouver's downtown east side. This year our KinVillage Irrigation System donation was covered in the Delta Optimist.

Giving Back on a Global Level
On a global level, our Vice President, David Pfortmueller, spent a week in the Dominican Republic this winter with the Nutri-Lawn's Re:nourish group, installing an irrigation system at an orphanage. You can read David's amazing account of his experiences in his journal here.
